{what next} Ondine Bathroom Set

The Ondine Bathroom set by {what next} is a beautiful set made in neutral tones and includes a bath tub, bath mat, table, bottles, fireplace and mirror with candles. The total prim count for this set is 32 prims. There are many changeable features to this set including changing the color of the bath fittings and the feet or the color of the bath mat or the washcloth.

If you touch the bottles you will be given a folder named "{what next}Ondine Bathroom - wearable bath props" and you can then wear a bar of soap or a scrubbing brush. You can turn on or change the volume of the water or the visual effects including steam and water movement with text commands. To access the command to fill the tub or change the colors for the tub you need to click the shadow below the tub to access the menu. To change the color of the bath mat you would click on the bath mat itself. You can change the permissions for access to the menu to fill the bath, or empty it, or change the color fittings and the wash cloth. A detailed notecard is included with the set with all of these instructions. Everything is very clearly explained in this notecard.

There are single pose options in the bathtub and couples poses as well which you can access by either touching the washcloth for a menu of poses or the side of the tub. Again this is explained in full detail in the notecard included with the set.

I enjoyed a nice soak in the tub while I figured out how to use the poses and took the photos for this blog. It was a nice, relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning in SL. Thank you to Winter Thorn for the review copy for our blog.

{what next} Laurel Bedroom Collection

One of our favorite home decor designers in SL is Winter Thorn. Her furniture is beautifully built and textured and the little added decorations that she incorporates into her collections give your home a very warm and inviting feeling.

New at {what next} is the Laurel Bedroom Collection featuring a bed, bedside table, blanket box, laurel rug, fireplace prints, drapes, 'corkboard lamp', vintage teacup candle, pile of books, breakfast tray and slippers (decorative only).

The Laurel bed has texture-changing scripts in the headboard that allow you to change the textures of the pillows and the blanket. There are single poses and couple poses in the pillows. There is a detailed notecard that explains how to use the pillows and change the textures included in the package.

The Laurel Bed comes scripted with reading animations -reading as a couple, reading a newspaper and reading a book, eating from a tray and drinking. These animations require the avatar to be 'wearing' a prop to look natural. The tray or props do not contain animations by themselves, the animations are scripted into the bed and the relevant prop (such as book or drink) must be 'worn'.

The breakfast tray, as well as being a decorative accessory, also acts as the dispenser for the animation props. You rezz the tray and touch the tray and you are offered a folder of props. All of these props are 'wearable' - choose one and right click on it in your inventory and 'wear'. Then choose the correct animation to play. The props are copy/transfer so your partner, friends and guests may use them too.

The blanket box has 11 sitting animations including reading animations. To use a prop with the reading animations you can click the pile of books to get a book and 'wear' it. The blanket draped over the blanket box is also texture changeable.

The corkboard lamp is a working lamp you touch to turn it on or off. You can also change the textures in the pictures to include your own photos and you can add multiple textures and cycle through them.

The Laurel bedroom set is a versatile and fun bedroom set. Perfect for your SL home decorating needs. Thank you to Winter Thorn for the review copies for our new blog.
